By using SpotMyMap you agree to these terms. Map data, pricing previews and placements may evolve as the product does. This page is product terms - not investment, tax or legal advice.
What SpotMyMap is
- A digital visibility map where brands, creators and communities can claim a visual presence tied to a country or region.
- A placement is digital visibility on the public map - a listing and a current painted share inside a country. Not land, property, equity, securities, or a return.
- Your listing stays on the map and in its history. The painted share can - and most likely will - shrink when others place more in the same country.
- Your contribution determines proportional visibility in the selected country. Boundaries are dynamically rendered and may shrink or move as new placements are added. Your selected anchor remains associated with your active placement. Extremely small proportional placements may appear as markers at some zoom levels; that is a rendering rule, not a reduction of what you paid for.
- SpotMyMap is an independently built beta. Placement boundaries and geographic borders are generated for visualization and may contain simplifications or temporary errors. Geographic boundaries do not imply official recognition or a political position. Names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective rights holders.
Payments and charity
Live charges use a payment provider. Map activation waits on a signed webhook, not the success page alone.
Choose EUR or USD at checkout. Your contribution amount is charged in the selected currency, and the final amount is shown in Stripe Checkout before payment.

- Your placement remains visible on SpotMyMap while your payment remains valid and unsettled chargebacks or unpaid disputes do not apply. If a payment is refunded, reversed, or successfully disputed, we may suspend or remove the placement from the live map without restoring map share.
- The contribution amount shown at checkout is the map price. SpotMyMap does not add a payment-method surcharge; Stripe may still show FX conversion details when your card currency differs.
- If content is rejected or refused before activation because it cannot be accepted, you receive a full refund. If a placement is removed after activation because the user or content violated SpotMyMap rules, there is no discretionary moderation refund. If SpotMyMap makes a technical error, duplicates or wrongly charges you, or wrongfully removes a placement, we provide a full refund or appropriate correction. If a payment is refunded, reversed, or successfully disputed, the placement may be removed or suspended from the live map. These moderation refund rules do not limit any mandatory consumer withdrawal, refund, chargeback, statutory guarantee, or other non-waivable consumer rights. Where mandatory law gives you a right to withdraw or receive money back, that right takes precedence.
Placements and content
- Brand representatives must be authorized to use the submitted name, logo and links. Fan / tribute listings must be clearly unofficial, must not impersonate a brand or fake verification, and must remain lawful. Choosing fan / tribute does not grant rights to use any official third-party logo. Trademark or rights-holder complaints may lead to review or removal. You grant SpotMyMap a non-exclusive licence to host, display and resize submitted material on the map and related pages.
- Preferred area rings and coordinates are approximate. Exact positions are not guaranteed; earlier placements may keep priority nearby when the live rules say so.
- Content must follow the on-site rules - no illegal goods, hate, harassment, scams, graphic abuse, or misleading financial claims. We may remove or refuse listings that break the rules under the refund policy above. See Content rules.
Charity share
Charity = 25% of completed placement revenue excluding VAT, refunds, chargebacks, and payment-processing fees. Hosting, opex, and salary are not deducted before that 25%. A placement is not a tax-deductible donation. SpotMyMap is not itself a charity. Transfers follow the 25% rule only after paid placements complete. Cause selection and public totals will be described on the charity page when donations begin - we never claim money is already donated before transfers happen.
No investment promise
Nothing on SpotMyMap is an offer of securities, profit share, land title, or guaranteed return. Past or preview layouts do not predict future visibility.
Withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer, you can withdraw within 14 days of the contract. SpotMyMap does not use a digital-download waiver for this product. Use the online withdrawal form or email support@spotmymap.com. Where to withdraw: the Withdrawal page (/withdrawal), or support@spotmymap.com, or the contact on Payments. SpotMyMap is a small independently built product. These pages describe how the service works today.
Send a written withdrawal via Withdrawal. Email support@spotmymap.com remains an additional method. We do not add an "all sales final" or digital-download waiver for this service.
Liability
The service is provided as-is during early development. To the fullest extent allowed by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on map data shown during early development. Mandatory consumer rights in your country still apply where they cannot be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product matures. Continued use after the updated date at the top means you accept the revised terms for ongoing use of the service. Paid checkout will show the then-current terms before you pay.
