Pay for visibilitynot a return

Contributions buy a digital map placement - listing + current share. Examples below are size metaphors - not guaranteed pixel counts or financial outcomes.

Amountranges

  • Slider: from €1 / $1 up through large campaign amounts in the currency you choose at checkout.
  • Custom amount: up to a high technical max - over 10 000 in the selected currency shows a disclaimer (large placements may need review).
  • Multi-country claims split the total evenly across markets - at least €1 / $1 per country.
  • Choose EUR or USD at checkout. Your contribution amount is charged in the selected currency, and the final amount is shown in Stripe Checkout before payment.

What isincluded

  • Name / brand on the map; logo upload optional.
  • SVG up to 5 MB · PNG/JPG/WebP/GIF/AVIF/HEIC/HEIF up to 40 MB. AVIF and HEIC/HEIF require browser support and are converted before upload. Stored files stay under 5 MB. Very large photos are compressed for map storage - never cropped, and SVG stays vector.
  • Profile details and social links (optional).
  • Current map share estimate before you place.

VAT, refunds, and any future paid extras (verification, Spotlight) show at checkout when they apply - not invented here as shipped products.

Payingfor a claim

  • Methods: Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bank payment, Invoice for larger amounts. The contribution amount shown at checkout is the map price. SpotMyMap does not add a payment-method surcharge; Stripe may still show FX conversion details when your card currency differs.
  • Minimum placement: €1 or $1.
  • Live charges use a payment provider. Map activation waits on a signed webhook, not the success page alone.

Listing vs share. Your listing stays on the map and in its history. The painted share can - and most likely will - shrink when others place more in the same country.

Charityslice

Charity = 25% of completed placement revenue excluding VAT, refunds, chargebacks, and payment-processing fees. Hosting, opex, and salary are not deducted before that 25%. A placement is not a tax-deductible donation. SpotMyMap is not itself a charity. Transfers follow the 25% rule only after paid placements complete.
