HOW IT WORKS

Claim visibilitynot land

SpotMyMap is an interactive map where companies, creators, communities and internet culture claim a visibility placement inside a country. Bigger contribution → larger current painted share. Not land. Not an investment.

How aplacement works

  1. Choose a country on the live map (or start from Claim).
  2. Select an amount. From €1 / $1. One country, or split evenly across several with at least €1 / $1 per country. Type an amount or use a quick choice.
  3. Build your profile. Name, profile type and color, optional logo and links. Preview the approximate patch before checkout.
  4. Pay via Stripe Checkout - Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Bank payment, or Invoice for larger amounts. Same map total. Method labels: Payments.
  5. Go live after a signed webhook confirms payment and content checks pass - not from the success page alone. Then you appear on the mosaic.
  6. Share if you want - claim cards and profiles are part of the story, not a deed.

What stays. Your listing stays on the map and in its history. The painted share can - and most likely will - shrink when others place more in the same country. At some zoom levels a very small share may show as a marker instead of a filled patch - that is screen resolution, not a smaller payment. The contribution still counts fully in that country's totals and rankings.

One shared map, four separate rankings: companies, creators, communities and Culture. Choose Culture / meme for memes and internet jokes. Map filters hide other categories while keeping everyone's placement size unchanged. Country totals include all four categories.

Whatchanges

  • Your contribution determines your proportional visibility in the selected country. Boundaries are dynamically rendered and may shrink or move as new placements are added. Your selected anchor stays associated with your active placement.
  • Preferred pin is a soft preference for where your patch clusters - not a guaranteed GPS coordinate.
  • Paint on the canvas is a zoom-dependent projection of listings, not a rewrite of who is listed.

Beta +accuracy

Placement boundaries and geographic borders are generated for visualization and may contain simplifications or temporary errors. Geographic boundaries do not imply official recognition or a political position. Names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Charityslice

Charity = 25% of completed placement revenue excluding VAT, refunds, chargebacks, and payment-processing fees. Hosting, opex, and salary are not deducted before that 25%. A placement is not a tax-deductible donation. SpotMyMap is not itself a charity. Transfers follow the 25% rule only after paid placements complete.

Checkout. Live charges use a payment provider. Map activation waits on a signed webhook, not the success page alone.
