How youpay

Choose EUR or USD at checkout. Your contribution amount is charged in the selected currency, and the final amount is shown in Stripe Checkout before payment. Minimum placement: €1 or $1.

Checkout. Payments use Stripe Checkout. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank methods appear when your browser and region support them. Real charges apply. Live charges use a payment provider. Map activation waits on a signed webhook, not the success page alone. There is no payment simulator on this page - only the live claim path.

Labels are what you see at checkout. Provider brands stay in the backend. Minimum placement: €1 or $1. The contribution amount shown at checkout is the map price. SpotMyMap does not add a payment-method surcharge; Stripe may still show FX conversion details when your card currency differs.

What staystrue

  • €1 / $1 minimum - coffee-sized placements are allowed in the selected checkout currency.
  • Same map price - no card surcharge, no cheaper bank price for the same claim.
  • EUR or USD - Choose EUR or USD at checkout. Your contribution amount is charged in the selected currency, and the final amount is shown in Stripe Checkout before payment.
  • Large amounts (~€1 000 / $1 000+) may recommend invoice / bank transfer; cards are not hard-blocked at launch.
  • Refunds and moderation - If content is rejected or refused before activation because it cannot be accepted, you receive a full refund. If a placement is removed after activation because the user or content violated SpotMyMap rules, there is no discretionary moderation refund. If SpotMyMap makes a technical error, duplicates or wrongly charges you, or wrongfully removes a placement, we provide a full refund or appropriate correction. If a payment is refunded, reversed, or successfully disputed, the placement may be removed or suspended from the live map. These moderation refund rules do not limit any mandatory consumer withdrawal, refund, chargeback, statutory guarantee, or other non-waivable consumer rights. Where mandatory law gives you a right to withdraw or receive money back, that right takes precedence. See Terms.
  • Charity - 25% of completed placement revenue → charity (after fees, before opex). Details on Charity.

Withdrawallocation

If you buy as a consumer, you can withdraw within 14 days of the contract. SpotMyMap does not use a digital-download waiver for this product. Use the online withdrawal form or email support@spotmymap.com.

After youpay

  1. Reserved - slot held for a short TTL while you check out.
  2. Pending - checkout started; waiting on bank or wallet confirmation.
  3. Paid - confirmed by signed webhook, not by the browser redirect.
  4. Active - on the map after content checks (or under review if moderation must look first).
